Agriesy Performance / Success Indicators
- Full Production and profitability of portion 10 of Goodehoope farm measuring 436 ha since 2008.
- Average maize yield on the Farm is 7 tones per ha under rain fed agriculture.
- Partnership with the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and environmental Affairs on the mentorship programme 2014/2015.
- Partnership with institutions of higher learning - Tswane university of Technology, University of Mpumalanga, University of Free State on provision of service training and internship.
- Training of various groups of Farmers on farm mechanization, crop duction, financial literacy in 2015.
JOB CREATION
Agriesy currently employs 12 permanent employees and 25 seasonal employees providing livelihoods to 185 people. With the planned improvement on the infrastructure consequently production the number of employees will increase. It is projected that permanent employees will increase due to all year round production and storage of maize.
